Who may use this

Rio’s House is a household planning application that helps its users manage tasks, reminders and finances. Using it requires an account. Each account belongs to one household, and an account holder sees only their own household’s data.

Text messages

An account holder may register a mobile number in their account settings. The application then sends that number reminders for tasks the account holder scheduled, and a text sent from it creates a task in their account. Registering and confirming a number is the consent, and it is given by the account holder, for their own number. Texts from numbers not registered to an account are discarded and nothing is stored.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or remove the number from account settings, which has the same effect immediately.

No financial advice

The application displays users’ own financial data and calculates projections from it. Those projections are arithmetic applied to assumptions, not predictions and not financial advice. Any commentary generated within the application is likewise informational. Neither is a substitute for a licensed professional.

Accuracy

Balances and transactions are retrieved from financial institutions through Plaid and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The institution’s own statement is authoritative. The application is provided as-is, with no warranty, and is used at the user’s own risk.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the most recent change.
