Who may use this

rios.house is a private application for a single household of two people. It is not offered to the public and cannot be signed up for. Access is limited to an explicit allowlist of two email addresses; any other sign-in attempt is refused.

Text messages

A household member may add their own mobile number in settings so that texting the household number creates a task in the application. Adding your number is the consent, and it is given by you, for your own number. Messages from any number not on that list are discarded and nothing is stored.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or remove the number from settings, which has the same effect immediately.

No financial advice

The application displays the household’s own financial data and calculates projections from it. Those projections are arithmetic applied to assumptions, not predictions and not financial advice. Any commentary generated within the application is likewise informational. Neither is a substitute for a licensed professional.

Accuracy

Balances and transactions are retrieved from financial institutions through Plaid and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The institution’s own statement is authoritative. The application is provided as-is, with no warranty, and is used at the household’s own risk.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the most recent change.
